In order to get the Raspberry Pi to run Archlinux ARM, follow this tutorial from archlinuxarm.org. In case there is no possibility to use an Ethernet connection, download the needed packages on the SD card.

The Wi-Fi dongle should work pretty much out-of-the-box. We will use this to connect to an existing network for the configuration process.

For safety reasons, logging in as root is discouraged. As a consequence, it is recommended to create a regular user (for example rpi) and install and use sudo.
