Now, to use it, (in my case) you would do as follows:

private InetAddress ipTest;
private Date dateTest;
private SimpleDateFormat dateFormat;

 

try {
    ipTest = InetAddress.getByName("192.168.0.1");
} catch (UnknownHostException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
}
dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyy");
try {
    dateTest = dateFormat.parse("21/12/2012");
} catch (ParseException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
}
addLog(ipTest, new Date(), "hello 1");
populateList();


You will just need addLog(…); and populateList();. What’s around is just to fit the example in.
